AlJusernet (“AlJusernet,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting the privacy and personal data of users of the AlJusernet platform (the “Platform”).
This Privacy Policy explains how AlJusernet collects, uses, stores, protects, and, where applicable, discloses personal data when you access or use the Platform, create an account, use our services, contact us, book an appointment, access educational content, interact with Professionals, or use our AI-assisted legal-orientation tool.
AlJusernet processes personal data in accordance with applicable Algerian legislation concerning the protection of personal data, including Law No. 18-07 of 10 June 2018, as amended and supplemented by Law No. 25-11 of 24 July 2025.

Depending on how you use the Platform, AlJusernet may collect the following categories of personal data.

- Profile photograph.
Where a Professional is verified, the Platform may publicly display the Professional’s verification status, such as an indication that the Professional is registered with or verified by the relevant professional authority.
The Platform does not publicly display confidential verification documents, registration numbers, or copies of certificates unless expressly permitted and necessary.
3.3 Booking Data
When a Client books an appointment with a Professional, we may collect:
- Name;
- Email address;
- Telephone number;
- Appointment date and time;
- Message or information submitted in connection with the booking.
AlJusernet currently does not provide a document-upload function for Clients in connection with appointments.
3.4 Educational Data
When you use the AlJusernet Educational Hub, we may collect information concerning your use of educational services, including:
- Courses accessed;
- Videos or lessons viewed;
- Educational materials accessed;
- Quiz or test activity;
- Learning progress;
- Participation in online live sessions;
- Certificates or other learning-related information, where applicable.

4. AI-Assisted Legal-Orientation Tool
AlJusernet may provide an AI-assisted legal-orientation tool designed to provide general legal information and educational guidance.
When you use this tool, the questions and information you submit may be processed by AlJusernet and, where necessary, by third-party technology and service providers supporting the AI functionality.
AI interactions may be retained temporarily for the purposes of providing the service, maintaining security, addressing technical issues, and managing the Platform. AI conversations are not intended to be permanently associated with a User’s account and are handled separately from ordinary account information.
Users should avoid submitting unnecessary personal, confidential, highly sensitive, or legally privileged information to the AI-assisted tool.
AlJusernet does not intentionally require Users to provide sensitive personal information in order to obtain general legal orientation through the AI-assisted tool.
AI-generated responses may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or unsuitable for a particular situation. They are provided for general informational and educational purposes only and do not constitute legal advice, legal representation, or a professional legal opinion.

5. Purposes of Processing
AlJusernet may process personal data for the following purposes:
- Creating and managing User accounts;
- Authenticating Users;
- Providing and administering Platform services;
- Verifying Professional status and qualifications;
- Displaying Professional profiles and verification status;
- Facilitating contact and appointments between Clients and Professionals;
- Processing and confirming payments;
- Providing access to courses, educational materials, quizzes, and live educational sessions;
- Managing learning activity and progress;
- Providing AI-assisted legal orientation;
- Responding to questions, requests, and support inquiries;
- Sending essential service-related communications;
- Sending promotional or marketing communications where the User has provided the appropriate consent;
- Maintaining and improving the Platform;
- Understanding Platform usage and performance;
- Detecting, preventing, and addressing fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, and security incidents;
- Protecting AlJusernet’s rights, property, Content, systems, and Users;
- Complying with legal, regulatory, judicial, or administrative obligations; and
- Establishing, exercising, or defending legal claims where necessary.
6. Legal Grounds for Processing
Depending on the circumstances, AlJusernet processes personal data on one or more of the following grounds:
- Performance of a service or contractual relationship, including account creation, bookings, educational services, and transactions;
- User consent, where consent is required or appropriate, including certain marketing communications and optional technologies;
- Compliance with legal obligations, where processing is required by applicable law or by a competent authority;
- Legitimate purposes, where permitted by applicable law, including maintaining Platform security, preventing fraud and abuse, protecting our rights, and improving the Platform.
Where processing is based on consent, the User may withdraw consent where permitted by applicable law. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
7. Sharing and Disclosure of Personal Data
AlJusernet does not sell Users’ personal data.
Personal data may be disclosed or made accessible only where reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to:
7.1 Professionals
Where a Client chooses to contact or book a Professional, AlJusernet may provide that Professional with information necessary to facilitate the requested engagement, such as the Client’s name, email address, telephone number, appointment details, and relevant message.
7.2 Service Providers
AlJusernet may use third-party service providers to support the operation of the Platform, including providers of:
- AI services;
- Payment processing;
- Email and communications;
- Analytics;
- Security;
- Hosting and technical infrastructure; and
- Other services necessary to operate the Platform.
Such providers may process personal data only to the extent necessary for the services they provide and, where applicable, subject to contractual or legal confidentiality and data-protection obligations.
7.3 Competent Authorities
AlJusernet may disclose personal data where required or authorized by applicable law, judicial order, administrative request, or competent governmental authority.
7.4 Protection of Rights and Security
AlJusernet may disclose information where reasonably necessary to investigate fraud, security incidents, unauthorized activity, violations of the Terms & Conditions, or conduct that may threaten the Platform, its Users, or third parties.
8. Data Retention
AlJusernet retains personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, to provide the relevant services, to maintain appropriate records, to comply with legal obligations, or to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
Where a User deletes their account, AlJusernet will delete the User’s personal data, except where certain information must or may lawfully be retained for a longer period.
Retention periods may therefore vary depending on:
- The type and nature of the data;
- The purpose for which it was collected;
- The nature of the relevant service or transaction;
- Legal or regulatory requirements;
- Security and fraud-prevention requirements; and
- The need to establish or defend legal claims.
Where personal data is no longer required, AlJusernet will take reasonable steps to delete, anonymize, or otherwise securely dispose of it, as appropriate.
AI conversations are handled separately and are intended to be retained only temporarily and not permanently associated with the User’s account.

AlJusernet takes reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the nature of the personal data processed and the risks associated with its processing.
These measures may include access controls, authentication mechanisms, secure transmission, confidentiality obligations, security monitoring, and other safeguards appropriate to the Platform.
Access to personal data is limited to persons and service providers who require such access for legitimate and authorized purposes.
However, no method of transmission or storage over the internet can guarantee absolute security. Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials and should use strong and unique passwords.
If AlJusernet becomes aware of a personal-data security incident requiring notification under applicable law, appropriate measures will be taken in accordance with the applicable legal requirements.
10. Cookies and Similar Technologies
AlJusernet may use cookies and similar technologies to:
- Enable essential Platform functionality;
- Maintain sessions and user preferences;
- Remember language and other preferences;
- Improve Platform performance;
- Understand how Users interact with the Platform; and

Disabling certain cookies may affect the functionality or availability of some Platform features.

Some services used by AlJusernet may involve the processing or access of personal data from outside Algeria, including services related to AI, payments, communications, analytics, or other technical functions.
Where personal data is transferred or made accessible outside Algeria, AlJusernet will take reasonable measures to ensure that such processing is carried out in accordance with applicable Algerian data-protection requirements, including any applicable authorization, safeguards, or other legal requirements concerning international transfers.
Users should be aware that certain third-party service providers may operate infrastructure or process information in jurisdictions outside Algeria.

Subject to the conditions and limitations provided by applicable Algerian law, Users may have rights concerning their personal data, including the right to:

14. Protection of AlJusernet Content and Intellectual Property
This Privacy Policy does not grant any User ownership or other rights over AlJusernet’s intellectual property or proprietary materials.
Information concerning the Platform’s intellectual property, including its name, logo, trademarks, visual identity, website design, user interface, software, database structure, original text, graphics, educational materials, courses, PDFs, videos, quizzes, templates, AI-assisted features, and other original Content, is protected in accordance with applicable law and the AlJusernet Terms & Conditions.
Users must not use personal data or information obtained through the Platform to copy, reproduce, imitate, extract, distribute, commercially exploit, or create an unauthorized service based on AlJusernet’s protected Content, design, branding, database, educational materials, or other protected elements.
Unauthorized access, copying, extraction, reproduction, distribution, publication, commercial exploitation, or other misuse of AlJusernet’s protected materials may result in suspension or termination of access to the Platform and may lead to appropriate legal action.

15. Changes to This Privacy Policy
AlJusernet may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the Platform, its services, applicable legislation, or its data-processing practices.
